I'm hoping that the current realise is a lot more useable but it would seem I'm back to square one. Is this requirement list still valid? If not do you have an uptodate list? Feeling your pain, I managed to get a silverlight development pc going round about the time you wrote this article, silverlight was v heavily sandboxed back then.
